The Vixenator

Vixen was born December 11, 2011.  Hers was a 'reindeer' litter, and her 'other mother,' her breeder Linda, dubbed her Vixen.  FTR - Vixen led the other reindeer just fine before that Rudolph showed up.

I wanted a girl and was looking at the three black-tri's.  "So Linda," I said looking at the one-day old pictures she sent, "is the one in the middle that looks like it's trying to sit up the girl?"  Linda replied, "Yes, that's the girl.  And she is sitting up at one day old.  She was the fourth pup to arrive, and I had to chase her down to cut the cord and dry her off."

On the car ride home.  Precious cargo.
MINE.

Her dam is Linda's Ch Woodstock's Coming Around Again 'Carly' (Car Car) and her sire is Susan Winters' HOF Ch Hearthside's Ready Set Go! (Chase).  And so this was the Car Chase litter.  That produced some fun names.  I thought Wild Joyride would be fun.  I kept her call name Vixen.  There's  power in names.  :-O

I like that camera Auntie Erika.

I brought her to her first agility trial the weekend after she came home.  The trial was at Nunes Agility Field in Turlock.

Erika Maurer had her camera.

Vixen discovered cameras.

The rest is history.  Little poser ...
